Pics
How's it going???? Anything yet ?????? :pop
Anddd.... Nothing new to report, seeing it move in its shell yesterday gave me hope that it’s still alive and just prepping itself but man, it’s takimg its sweet time!

I think I’m going to get an incubator Any suggestions for a small one ? I think I’ve caught the bug:drool

That's good that u saw it moving, they really do like to take their time we get more anxious for them to be born than they are!!!! I bought an incubator @ Tractor Supply for about $50, it wasn't the best but it did the job. Now that u caught the "bug" u might want to invest in a good one :)

I really like my Little Giant still air styrofoam incubator.
So far I have zero complaints about it.

I jut turn the turner out and put it in "lockdown" mode for quail eggs.

Brinsea Mini or Maxis are great (mixed reviews on their Ovation models), I have 2 older Octagons and got a new Mini this year and love it. But they can be pricey.
Some of the tractor supply stores carry a Harris Farms Nurture Right 360 that is around $120. I got one and have been using it mainly as a hatcher. The view in it is fabulous! It holds temp and humidity fairly well (although I have it set on 100.5 to maintain 99.5-100) And filling with water is done from outside, so I love that feature also. And you can candle from outside, if you place the eggs just right. :)

That's also an older GQF cabinet incubator these are sitting on. :gig

GUILTY! :hide

(I happen to have a couple more that aren't being used, not shown in that pic) :lau

Just took that pic the other evening, the one with the eggs in it... 7 of those had hatched when I left home this morning. :D
