And 24 hours, give or take a few. That air cell is plenty big if you want to wait longer. When air cells are small, I may jump the gun, but yours has a good amount of air in there, in my opinion.

Yes...Eggs hatch on their own time. Mommas do not make safe holes. Just keep watching the egg. If it really begins to wobble and Peeps then do a safe hole. Then it will take another 12 to 36 hours to zip out. Ducks are lazy hatchers..

Fancy died July 5th, I gave all 4 that I had back to speedy and the twins that night at around 11p/12a. So, from what I was reading that y'all were saying about incubation times - 36 days... I can't seem to get a good enough candle on it. I have a 700 lum flashlight, but it's dark, though if I hold it right I can see the air sac and the baby - just not if its moving or not. Speedy keeps sitting on it though only leaves for food and bath or hugs. She still comes up and pokes me when she wants a hug, I pick her up and she wraps her neck around mine then kinda chips when she wants down then goes back to sitting.
