Please help me! I have ducks eggs that are supposed to be hatching in a week moving today. 3/7 have moved in front of me just now. They aren't supposed to hatch yet and the egg turner is still set up. I haven't even began lock down ( was supposed to begin monday. I looked it up and it said khaki campbell eggs can hatch anywhere from day 23 to day 28 ( mine are on day 21). Should I begin lock down now? Will they be okay if I take out the turner / opened the incubator? Is it normal for them to move this early or are they starting to hatch?

They are just getting into position and often wobble at that stage. Unless you got eggs that were already under a mother, or stored at a high temp then you may end up with some hatchlings earlier than planned. Early lockdown a day or two has been fine in my experience, but if the eggs were stored correctly then just relax and enjoy.
