Thanks everyone! I’ve candled again, marked the air cells and placed lowest dip of air cell face up. I’ve added a little more warm water to keep the humidity up and I have locked down. Some air cells didn’t look big enough but some looked too big
Time will tell. I will update when anything changes.
I may be on again with more questions because when my neighbor’s duck stopped laying for a few days, we thought she was done, I ordered some Ancona eggs to be shipped to me (I love their look and they are supposed to be good layers?) Well my neighbor’s girl was just taking a break I guess and her second one must’ve begun laying since multiple days in a row she found 2 every morning. So now I have 10 ready to hatch now (didn’t expect that many since that is every single fertilized egg she gave me) and 12 more arriving tomorrow
Let the fun begin
I just wanted about 6-8 ducks for eggs (my husband has developed an intolerance to chicken eggs but can eat duck eggs) and maybe 1 drake....now if all hatch I will have to figure out rehoming....sooo I’m hoping most are females
