I'm trying to hatch duck eggs, I am pretty sure mine didn't survive, but can I have some conformation please? I can't see any veins in the egg so I am pretty sure it was a failed attempt. :(

So one week today but they were already over two weeks old when you put them in? I don't see any development at all, I think they had already lost viability or were never fertile to begin with when you set them.

Alright well thank you, I am just going to toss them I think. I was hoping I was wrong but oh well.

But the person I got them from had them since the 21st.

I put them in 4 days after they were laid.

The 21st was over two weeks ago though, so if the person you got them from had them since the 21st you couldn't have put them in four days after they were laid if you put them in last Thursday?

But regardless, it looks like they were too old or never fertile to begin with. Just in case, what type of incubator were you using and what was your temp and humidity?

Well I have a total of four eggs. See I know someone who has a duck whose laying eggs and I wanted to try to hatch them. He is watching two ducks as well as has two ducks. His duck was laying fertile eggs, the other one he wasn't sure if her eggs were fertile. He gave me two from each. And your right about the dates. They were laid on the 2nd and given to me on the 6th, put right in the incubator. I'm using a cheap one, it was the only one I could find for a small amount of eggs.

Probably a silly question, but he does have a drake right? How did he know the eggs were fertile?

Could have been incubator problems too if your temp and humidity were wrong which they easily could be if it's a cheap incubator and you went with what it was telling you as far as temp and humidity goes and thought that was correct, because often it's not.
