HELP - Duck hatching

That looks much better! :thumbsup
Try again in 3 or 4 hours to open it enough the duck can push out. It will never be able to zip out on it's own, so continue to assist when the time comes.

Okay thanks, I’ll try and chip away some more in a few hours! I’ll keep you updated as you are being great help!

Still not much change in the last 2 hours. Duckling is moving and cheeping away but other than that no progress at all. I’m not sure if it has its foot blocking it’s head?

It will not make any progress ever on it's own now. You have to help it or it will die.
This is on you, you can do this. Start taking off more shell, and pushing back more membrane.
My article is on call ducks but this can apply to you since you are assisting now.

I’m please to say that I have a super healthy looking duckling! The problem was that it’s foot got stuck over its head and the membrane was shrink wrapped. Thank god I took the plunge and helped! Thank you so much for the amazing advice!
my next question is, what temperature should the incubator be as the duckling dries off? I have it set to 37.2 Celsius.
