So one of our ducklings is feeling down. She’s usually runs away from me but today she won’t do that. I held her front up and she just drank water. Her sister won’t leave her side and will rest next to her. She won’t even honk at me. She is around 1 month. She’s been very tired all the time.

Could you post a video of her? Upload your video to youtube or Vimeo, and then copy/paste the link here. And a few questions, what are you feeding her, any supplements, what's the temp in your brooder, what kind of bedding are you using, how often are you cleaning the bedding, info about your whole setup is very helpful.

We live in Missouri so it is quite warm right now they are outside, they are freeranged and are outside, I think we use aspen bedding. Our yard consists of clover, barley and moss. They don’t stray far from the coop. They are mixed in with the chickens so we feed them mixed flock feed

here is a video of daisy and poncho

Oh I forgot, we sometimes mix it in with sunflower seeds, dried mealworms, and corn. We have a seperate container with duck feed but they don’t eat it much

Do you have a picture of her poop, can she walk, if so explain how she walks. When did this start happening?
This morning, we just let them out less than a hour ago. She walks slower than usual. I was not there when she went down the ramp so I cannot fully describe how she walks

i just went back down there, her legs feel a bit warm, colder up near the joint (it just rained so she was probebly in the water) I included a picture of how she stand when I hold her breast if it helps. She waddles like a normal duck. When I picked her up he head feathers went down and where not as fluffy.

Can you take her to a vet, Is there anything she may have eaten wire, nails, maggots, or moldy feed/
We might be able to. I have no idea if our regular vet would take ducks. They take horses and other farm animal. Not sure about ducks though. We had a problem with red tailed hawks getting into our coop so we had to build a make shift swing door. We might have dropped a staple when hammering in. I will see if it would be possible to take her.
