Also, the vet is not an option right now, I have been dealing with a sick elderly dog, whom I had to put down yesterday. So money is a bit tight. Is there something I could order online?

Yes he is drinking water. How would I tube feed him?

Has he always had crumbles? My first thought would be to switch to pellets

Yes always crumbles. He was drooling quite a bit last week, could that mean anything?

Ok, I checked crop and it is empty, no smell in mouth. He weighed 4 pounds yesterday and today is only 2 1/2 pounds. I am so worried, he seems fine, he’s perky doesn’t look sick. I’ve search all over the internet, and can find anything. I just don’t know what to do.

I think maybe there was an error when you weighed him because for him to drop that much weight in one day is very unlikely. How are you weighing him?

As for crop feeding supplies you will need a tube, a 60 ml syringe, and some Kaytee Exact baby bird food.

For a tube you can use aquarium air line if you melt the that get inserted (use a lighter).

Ugh, I just went to my feed store they don’t carry feed tubes anymore. Also I will weigh him again, I hold him while on the scale, and subtract my weight. I will try to order the tubing supplies on amazon. I just got more veggies that he really likes and put those in his pool. They only eat extra things if it’s in there pools. Silly birds
