Help! Duckling bleeding!

Haha! I was hoping you were still on, I usually just use coconut oil so I was lost on that one
I use coconut or olive, Mineral oil is a lacitive when taken orally, and used to finish wood butcher blocks. it might not hurt the duckling but then again it might burn their eyes or poison them i just dont know
 
@WVduckchick is a very experienced hatcher and advised me that if it's going to be a long time until hatch and the membrane will need to be oiled that vaseline is the best thing to use. Coconut oil is good if you're awake and checking every 5 minutes or so but if you're going to go to bed or going to be away for an extended period of time use the vaseline because it doesn't dry out as fast.
