Help! Duckling bleeding!

When the duckling is ready to hatch the membrane will be completely devoid of blood, The yolk will be absorbed into the stomach cavity, and the umbilical cord unattached
it will clearly pushing and fighting to get out

How many hours since you uncovered its mouth?

So considering the membrane had lots of blood in it ide estimate 6-8 hours before its ready, if you whent to bed youd probably wake up with a hatched duckling

it took 6 hours for my silkies to hatch from that state

Yes definitely. She could dry out very quickly if you don't put it on

Haha! I was hoping you were still on, I usually just use coconut oil so I was lost on that one
