Help! Duckling born with stomach Outside body

His stomach is extended but otherwise he looks fully formed.

What can we do to help it, we are going to try and ‘bandage it for the night but any and all advice is helpful!

Make sure none of the others can get to him, they might peck at him. I don't know about the medications, but make sure what ever you give him does NOT contain pain reliever. Is he moving at all?

No but the embilical cord it attached to it

Yes,he chirps and flails a little bit, all motor functions appear to work.

I'd isolate and see if it goes down overnight. Looks like an unabsorbed yolk from the pic. Might want to keep it moist. If it is in fact the stomach, I think the kindest thing is euthenasia.

if its yellow its most likely yolk sac and will have veins all over it, sometimes if your real careful you can actually push it back inside the bird, dont try and disconnect it will cause alot of bleeding and possibly kill it. otherwise best to separate it from all others as they might try to peck it and cause it to burst. but i had it happen once but it was alot smaller than that and i just separated it for few days and it went away on its own.

Just put a barrier between him and the others for now. It might just be the yolk sac, he should absorb it. Do you have Vaseline? You can put a smidgeon on the sac to keep it moist.
