HELP! Duckling hatched with twisted leg!!

Can’t really tell by pic. Has anything changed as far as straightening out? What a cutie:love
He was flailing around so it was a challenge to get it still..lol....actually he is gaining strength. Yay!!.looking like he is trying to straighten it on his own! I will keeo an eye on it over next couple of days. Poor baby cant hardly stay awake though...good thing when he was last awake he was eating and drinking like crazy! In my transition brooder i have a heating psd set in low wrapped in a pillow case and no matter where i set him he always wobbles his way back to the heating pad ..this one has my heart:love thank you for checking on us!

How's the duckling doing today?
Doing wonderful!! Like many were saying, it just needed time :) he and his brother are so sweet!! Thank you so much for checking in!

Aw I’m so glad I found this. I had an issue with two chicks with bad legs but had no transition brooder and the other chicks attacked it. Now I feel sick thinking maybe we didn’t do enough but we had to call it at the time. I will be leaving the inserts in my incubator so each chick has its own limited space as last time I took them out and they were walloping about all over the place and knocking the other eggs which never made it. I think the ones who’s legs didn’t work maybe had too much room as they were hatched much later. Oh I was told at the time you just have to make your choice and life with it. Going to go cuddle my healthy chicks and feel better. So happy for your wee guy. I may need you all weekend as hatch day starts in a week!! Feel so much more prepared for it after following along with you and all the advice
