HELP - duckling is bleeding!

well if the bleeding doesn't stop it can get serious quick... blood loss is never a good think a lot of blood loss is bad... it looks like it's bled a lot already... how much blood was in the pen with him?

There was only a couple little drops. I guess I caught it as soon as it happened. He had his tail on my other duckling and some had came off on her feathers (not a lot, but enough to give me a small heart attack).

Looks like a bunch of feathers got ripped out in the picture if im seeing correctly.

I keep vetericyn on hand. Its great for things like this. I havent had to use it yet on my ducks.
But i would find some if u can

Thank you all. The bleeding has let up and he's acting fine, nothing out of the ordinary. Eating and drinking, sleeping, doing what a duck does :p

I'll make sure to get some of the Vetericyn.

Hey everyone. My little guy seems fine now. I cleaned the wound when I got home and I'm almost positive a feather somehow got ripped out. I think he's okay now. He's eating and drinking normally.

If anything changes I'll let you all know. Thanks everyone for helping me. If it wasn't for this website and all the wonderful people, I would have been so lost raising ducks.
