Help Duckling is eating pine shavings????????

I think she's eaten like maybe 10 from what i'm seen then I stopped her. Not sure if she has been eating them though .

Okay! Maybe you should change her bedding.

Do you know what could happen? somebody said that the can get clogged inside but if they have grit it should stop the shaving from getting clogged. They do have grit 24/7. So I'm not sure.. We are seeing a vet tomorrow for a respiratory infection so i'll ask him then about this too!

I saw one of my chickens eat styrofoam yesterday, so I'm kinda in a similar WTH boat.

I’m not sure what will happen but I’m wondering if it could get stuck in her throat and that would not be good. There’s a saying “better to be safe the sorry” I think I almost live by that lol
