HELP duckling looks like it's dying!

It looks like it's having seizures or something. Probably a thiamine deficiency. That's exactly how my thiamine deficient duckling acted.
I've been feeding nutritional yeast with their food (or brewers yeast, cant remember exactly which). How did you correct thiamine deficiency?

I would think if she were thiamine deficient it would have onset more slowly, I agree the symptoms are similar, but this is very severe and rapid in a very short period of time. Do not be alarmed, but the symptoms you describe are quite similar to (DVH).
I have him separated from the other ducklings as of this morning but is it possible they could develop problems too? I would hope it is just related to his unfortunate dunk in the water day before last but if its contagious I dont know how to protect all the others.

What happened in the water?

Do you have any poultry cell or nutridrench? He needs vitamins. Any iron-free polyvisol?
I dont think I have any of those. It might be too late to be helpful for this little one anyway. I could drive to pick it up but the nearest open farm store is about an hour and a half trip.

Night before last he somehow climbed into the water and got stuck. I'm not sure how long he was in there but needless to say it was too long. He seemed very tired. I got him out and dry and fed him and he was toddling along with the others in the brooder. He seemed fine yesterday.

Is there a way to force feed it? It wont even open its beak for water. I thought at first that maybe it got dried food holding it closed but I wiped its mouth area with a damp tissue and its cleaned off but still wont open up.
Do you have an incubator? He needs to get warmed up before you do anything. once warmed up you can try to give drops of Gatorade or Pedialyte. DO NOT FORCE FEED HIM!
