Hi pls help first time (as adult) duck owner my 2 khaki campbell ducklings are 4-5 weeks old and are starting to go bald on there bellys one feels like its prickly the other one doesnt pls help its worrying me cant see vet til friday

i hope so so does tht mean they will have all there feathers soon

My duckling went bald gradually on his back untill it was completely bald with no feathers coming in, then he died. He also, had feet that were turned in and he wobbled when he walked it was more like he was dragging on his belly. I guess my question is how did he die and are my other ducklings at risk.he was 3 weeks old.

We need more info please
What are you feeding them?
are supplementing with niacin?
When did you notice he was going down hill?
did you notice the others picking on him?
Where did you get your ducklings?

:welcome

I got them from tractor supply store, yes the other ducks and chicks would peck him. No niacin I was gonna buy brewers yeast today. He started balding at about a week old and died at 3

I have a second duck now that is eating less, moving less, but no balding. I think he MIGHt have diarrhea

Did you get the brewers yeast? very important you get them on it asap it's a miracle vitamin for water fowl that are fed chick starter. 1 Tab per cup of feed. or pick up some B complex in liquid form and begin giving them this.

Hopefully it's just a nutritional thing and getting the B complex will get them back.
