I have 2 ducks (out of 4) that have webbing torn on their feet. I think it's a turtle chewing on them while they're swimming in the pond.

Is there anything I can do about it?

How much is missing? I personally would try to add some ointment and bandage to prevent infection. I wouldn't allow them back onto the pond until you can trap the turtle

Could it be from their cage? And would you happen to know if its snapping turtle that you have in the pond? If so you may want to try to get him out. Had a goose lose a foot over a snaping turtle. People have been useing a heavy hook tied onto a think rope with a epmty gallon jug tied to the other end of the rope so you can track where the turtle is and grab the rope and pull em out. Hook the end with chicked or something. And id try to keep the ducks out until your able to get the turtle out.

I agree with that, I personally just got blue kote to put on my ducks if they hurt themselves along with gauze and waterproof tape.

They are free rangers so they don't have a cage anymore now that they're big enough. I know there is a snapper in the pond as well as lots of other kinds so it would be pretty hard to catch the snapper...the pond is a pretty good size as well. The webbing is torn between two toes and all the way to the "crotch" of the webbing so theirs no way of saving the webbing. And it's like this on both ducks. At first it was just the one duck that had the problem now yesterday we noticed the other one was freshly injured. They seem to walk on their feet jjust fine so far. is there anything that's waterproof that I can put on them?

The bigger problem than the present injuries is the fact that the snapper will continue injuring your ducks. There are turtle traps, and the baited hook always works. So far your ducks have been lucky. A snapper is capable of removing an entire foot.

Glad your ducks look like they will recover, if nothing more than torn webbing, but sourland is pointing out a concern that I share. My feeling is that this is a "warning shot," and that more trouble awaits if the ducks continue in the pond with the snapping turtle.

I would use the liquid skin thats waterproof on it but thats just me. And I would definately get the snappers out at any cost. We had a HUGE snapper that luckily was out sunning one morning at 6am and my dad ran down with the truck and threw it in the bed and wisked him off to another pond. We dont have the ability to kill an animal thats just doing what they are ment to do. But after taking off a goose foot it really had to go. We soon after found 2 other ones that were not as big as the first but stil had to go. So as of right now we beleive their isnt anymore. Our bullfrog population has also gone up after removing the turtles. :)
