Does anybody know the correct dosage for a gallon of water? The chicks come in a few hours and I need help!

I have the 4 oz. package (or what's left from last year - I should remember what I did, I know

) of the Durvet Vitamins & Electrolytes.

I had the same question yesterday. After doing the math, I didn't trust myself so I called the Durvet. I was asked what size bag of Vitamins/Electrolytes I had. It's an 8 oz. bag. I was told to mix 3/4 teaspoon in a gallon of water.

Thank you for the information! I, too, was looking for that info, and Googled it. Up popped: you guys! Thanks!

Thank you Laura Ridge Dreams for the exact answer. My 8 oz package directs
to mix entire package with 110 gallons of water. I guess Durvet didn't have
us backyarders in mind.

You want to remake the water every day it does not last. So make smaller amounts. I give it to all my young chicks for the first few weeks.
