I must have miscounted days or i have a heat issue, but anyhow one of my ducklings is hatching. The egg is pipped, hole is about the size of a nickel and i can hear it chirping . I have disabled the turner but the eggs are all still in it. The eggs rest on their sides in this tray not on-end (model is Janoel 12 incubator). Do I open the incubator quickly and remove the tray? Or let them hatch first? I'm worried about losing the pipped egg. But I don't want a duckling to be injured by trying to climb out of the tray or getting stuck.

What to do? Thanks!

Remove the turning trays, make sure someone help you so humidity and temps doesn’t drop too much.

Thanks, it hatched fully so we were able to pull the tray before any others pipped.
