If...if it’s a broken egg. The soak will relax her. Sometimes they will pump their vent to help pass the broken shell. If you can’t take her to the vet (I understand) then you’ll need to get your game face on (stay calm get serious) and try to help. Do you think you could do that?

Okay...to me that looks like a old prolapse....you can do this. You’ll need to give her a soak in epsom salt water. If you don’t have that just regular water will do.

This is a sad case. I know how people can get attached to their chickens and this is a horrible development. As a farmer, I sympathize with you chicken pet keepers.
