Help! Eggs are starting to hatch and not sure what to do

Hi! I have had lots of chickens and hatched plenty of eggs over the years but not recently. This little guy started to pip and has been making the hole bigger but no zipping yet. He started around 10 am yesterday and this is as far as he is. Do you think he is stuck? Do I need to assist? He really is trying...

Definitely not go crazy ripping off the shell but slowly assist to see if its dry with no blood and ready.

I'll try. I'm at work right now so I'm getting updates via my hubby, who has never seen eggs hatch before The little guy was struggling a lot so I went home and gently took part of the shell off where the air bubble was. It seems as if the chick is to big to turn to zip. I moistened the membrane to keep it from drying out. There still appears to be active veins so I'm hoping it is still absorbing and is just resting now, hopefully.
