I'm so heartbroken - my entire flock was killed last night from coyotes (sad tears). We had 9 total, one of them was a turkey. Looks like they killed all of them, but only ate a few. My husband and I have coyote proofed the coop (twice!), but they found a 12 inch weak spot to dig where the underground wire wasn't close together. My birds lasted two years before predators caught them, and I'm so sad.
I'm writing bc I think they were killed last night, and I found a bunch of eggs Silkie and Hen were sitting on about an hour ago. I opened a few and they were literally DAYS away from hatching! If I incubate them, is there ANY chance they might hatch? Some of them might be earlier in the process.
Thanks,
Rachel
