HELP EMERGANCY HATCHING EGG IN OVEN

Thank yall. I have it under a heat lamp right now. I've never seen a chick unzip as fast as this one or chirp as much!!

No I'm not sure what happened but it was almost done unzipping, and was already trying to stretch out its legs, rolling everywhere when it stopping and didn't move again. After I was sure it was dead I peeled off some of the shell, and I didn't get a good look but I think a piece of the shell may have stabbed it. That has happened before to an Orpington chick once, except she survived the wound.

Oh no. I'm so sorry. You did all that you could do though. So don't beat yourself up about it. You did a great job.

On the bright side, I did go back outside to look at the other eggs and noticed one was pipping too!! The chick hatched and its a beautiful healthy buff Cochin, despite sitting outside unattended for an hour. It was about 80-85 degrees today.

My mistake. His/her father is a buff Cochin, and his/her mother is a Black Orpington Bantam. I don't know why I said he/she was a buff Cochin
