My Coop
I have a small flock of 2 hens in my coop. One is a Black Australorp and the other a RIR. They have plenty of food, water, and the occasional treat. They will squawk like crazy when they are about to lay, and for the rest of the day! This is my coop:

Is there a way to stop it, or is my coop to small, or something?!?!
Yes, I think the coop/run is far too small for those two birds. They should have, in my opinion, at least 15 square feet per bird in the run. They should have lots of things inside that run for them to perch on, scratch around in and dust bathe in. They really don't have anything. I think they're just complaining.
I would greatly increase the size of the run and put lots of stuff in it for them to do. However, that's not to say that they won't still be very noisy just prior to and immediately after egg laying. That's a normal behavior. But they should not be carrying on like that all day long.

I played classical music and gave them treats, which helped. Until I can give them a bigger run, is there a way I can block the noise?

Some birds are more noisy than others. Another idea: maybe you won't like it if so no problem.

Sell these girls, get some bantam chickens. I think two bantams or maybe three would fit much better than full size birds. I think the coop is big enough, for two hens, but no more, but the run or outdoor area is pretty small.
