Help... failure to thrive?

The hatchery told me the ACV works better than corrid.. they also said paper towels will kill them faster than shavings. So, yeah.

They aren't on medicated feed. I was giving gamebird feed but they're liking the locally made organic chicken starter mix better.
I'm sorry...
Just give them Corid water only....powder or liquid is what you have?
Save the ACV and V/E til after you finish the Corid.

It's up to you to use the Corid or use the AVC.
I would use the Corid.
If ACV worked so well they wouldn't sell Corid, IMO.

I have the 20% powder.

I gave them 1/2tsp per quart for days 2-5.

If I get new guineas or turkey come spring *should* they be fed starter with amprol in it?

Since they got corrid for 3 days should I do 4 more days or start over with 7 days?

Do this in addition to your mixture, but you need to go your mixture for 5 to 7 days.

Mix 1/2 teaspoon powder with 2 teaspoons of water and give them each 3 drops to the beak for 3 days straight...do that to the sickest ones now.

I would say no...ESPECIALLY if you are offering vitamins.
Start over with 7 days.

Oh they hate me so much... earlier messing with their pasty bums and now more force feeding of fluids... if they survive to adulthood they may run away and never come back.

Don't worry about them hating you right now...go save their life! :fl:hugs

Wow, this thread has been so enlighting. Don't know much about this, so have nothing to contribute, except, your babies are lucky to have you. Sounds like you have worked very hard for them all. Please give yourself a pat on the back for me. Good luck with the rest. Keep us updated when you can.
