HELP! fertile eggs going missing from under duck, blood on other eggs and damaged shells

Just went to look at it and it has died :( it is very sad because it was trying to internal pip but couldnt because the membrain was so sunken and tigh. I dont think it would have made it out I think it got tired

So basically half the shell was gone leaving the softer inside bit in tacked. So I had a look at it and by the look of it it needed to stay in a while longer but the membraine was getting smaller and tighter on it. I think it would have been a miricle if it survived. So now I have a good egg in the incubator which I am not touching and ill let it do its own thing and 3 under mamma duck so hopefully they will be good. First time hatching is very stressful

Hey guys more sad news one of the eggs under mamma pipped last night and I came out this morning and found the baby dead under them :( she was fully out still wet but just dead. So I did move the egg I was incubating back under the mums last night but I have since taken that egg back and put it back in the bator in case the mums killed the baby. There are no marks on it no feathrs pulled it is just dead so do you think the mums killed it? Or that it just wasnt able to survive??

Oh and should I raid the nest for the other two eggs that are still there?

I would be tempted to move the eggs to the incubator. I have had mixed success with multiple hens of any species sharing a common nest. In my experience it has led to very low percentage hatches.

Yeah I just moved them into the incubtor. So there are three 1 has just externally pipped one is internal and the other I am not sure is viable but we shall see. I am so nervious I dont want to lose anymore babys.

Sorry about your losses, the only thing I can suggest is if bub has pipped and is , king strong noises let it be if faint try gently breaking the shell - not the membrane, gently massage the membrane over the head and let it rotate, it can breathe now and leave the rest in the shell for the yolk to absorb and keep it in the incubator on a face cloth. It can stay
Like that for hours. Especially if the membrane looks like veins have blood in them, as opposed to nearly clear. Hope all goes well and one thing I found out is that drake will eat their own babies!

Ok so somehow that baby has died, I was away last night so I wasnt able to keep an eye on it it seemed to pip fine but then died and after I opened it up I found itd head in the middle of the egg not in the air sac or near the hole. Why did it do this?
The other egg externally pipped at about 2 30pm (it is now 6 30pm AUS) it was just banging on the shell and not getting anywhere so I scratched a tiny hole and after that it managed to make a hole itself. Its beak is out and I can see it breath and it cheeps. So I have it in the incubator I have gotton the humidity up and the egg is sitting on wet paper towel. I have wet the exposed membraine with a q tip. Is there anything else I should do? This is my last viable egg and I dont want the baby to turn like the other and die. I am quite worried even though I think this baby is going well. I am keeping a close eye on it what should I do if it turns? How long between pipping and zipping and zipping and hatching? Thanks for all your help so far I really dont want this baby to die to!
