Help Finding !/4" 19 gauge Hardware Cloth!

Hello Everyone, I apologize in advance if this is already posted somewhere! I have searched and searched through all the posts and have had no luck. I have searched the internet to no avail. We are getting ready to build our run, I was hoping this weekend. From my research the best covering for the run is 1/4" 19 gauge hardware cloth. but I can not find it anywhere. Am I wrong? I see a lot of 23 gauge. I followed all the links I could find on this site and still have come up with nothing. I don't want to use the 23 gauge if this is not the safest option. Any help/input would be highly appreciated..

Most of us use 1/2" hardware cloth, not 1/4". It's fine, and much easier to find. I understand that Amazon has the best price, but I buy it locally instead, as needed. Mary

Folly's Place, thank you for letting me know that most use the 1/2". The research I did before this group had me set on 1/4",. I am glad to know that the 1/2" is what most people here use. It will be much easier to find. Being a new chicken mom, I am nervous and trying to do my best to do this the rite way to keep my girls safe. Your response is much appreciated!

23ga is standard for 1/4" HC...not even sure they make other gauges.
19ga is standard for 1/2" HC....you can get 16ga, but harder to find and more expensive.

19ga 1/2" is plenty strong if attached properly.
Should keep everything out except smaller mice.
