Who was mentioned at least twice on these forums. All I remember is that he raises Japanese quail, and I think is involved in or supplies birds to research? Maybe. X) I don't think he is on this website, but someone posted his website link when people were asking about coturnix. It was very professional looking, and he had a lot of color varieties. I know it's a long shot, but just wondering if anyone possibly can come up with who it was. I've tried using the search function, but obviously no luck with such a vague bit to go by.

punk-a-doodle Is this the link?

It came from kuntrygirl & MobyQuail. When my bater is finished {this weekend and finish the new pens) I hope to get some and looking forward to ordering eggs

. Just wish I had this web site sooner, for some reason after weeks of searching the web site never popped up

I love how she takes such care with her birds and breeding.

Mossypath, that's it! You are amazing!

And it is so weird, google seems to ignore the site entirely when searching for Japanese quail. Thank you so much for the link. I can't believe you were able to match it up from my poor description. X)

Thanks for weighing in Quaillady! I only wish they were for me though. :( I'm sending some links to an interested friend, and am reminded just how much I want to try out cots and harlequins too. But, button quail are more suited to our current smaller pastures.

If you are interested in trying out some African Harlequin eggs let me know. I can send some to you for the price of shipping. My incubators are full right now and I would rather have them go to use than to breakfast.

Button quail are amazing creatures too. I love watching the males pick up chunks of anything to impress their ladies :)

That is way too tempting Quaillady! We have such a full house though right now, I'd better wait and take it one quail species at a time. But, so tempting...
