Help! first time hatching!

How old are those eggs???

The second one's comb is taller in the middle, not so much walnut and splattered out like the other. And actually it was very content with hubby holding it. Didn't even mind my phone right in its face lol. But thanks for your thoughts. Wonder why neither crows yet? Maybe because of no other roosters around to teach them?
When do silkies usually start laying eggs?

OOPS, did I miss a question? Around 7 Months. or they will Start Crowing..

When they first start to crow, boy do they sound sick. LOL, It's funny and Strange at the same time.

Either day 8 or 9. I'm terrible with dates

First one has stopped, he's gone

Second one hasn't even tried to start, so he's no good

The last one, I'm not seeing any veins, Is it moving??? If not, I'm thinking he's stopped..

Well wait maybe there's veins on the third one, it's hard to tell, your going to have to go by movements..

Yeah, the last and first weren't moving. A couple were really moving, so that's encouraging. I'll toss duds out tomorrow. I drew on them so I wouldn't have to go they each egg to find the baddies.

Also, the first, last, and one unphotoed egg had a thick dark looking vein/circle thing. You can see it in the top pic

It's called the Ring of Death. LOL kind of like a computer, the Blue screen of death. LOL

I see it in the first one but I can't see it in the last one..
