Help! first time hatching!

If you candle it does the shadowing part kind of disappear for a moment? Kind of like down back down into the black area?? If so then it's not fluids, it's your baby PLAYING HIDE AND SEEK, he's saying Oh no your not going to see me yet. So then let him do his thing,..

that's what it sounds like... or maybe just wishful thinking but trying to post a video I took, might take a minute

If You really want to get him going, lol there's a YouTube video called baby ducks hatching, play that to the little guys and you'll see lots of wiggling. Lol it takes a couple of shots though. Lol

Mine will do this for a day or two before pipping internally. I call it "pushing on the membrane". This is also the time when I notice the eggs moving in the incubator.

yay :) and yes, that's what it seemed like to me too, like they're trying to break through the membrane
