@ozexpat , been thinking about trying a few eggs this way since most of mine seem like maybe they don't lose enough when set at 45%.

its ok for a couple of days when the eggs are on the full side.Will this be okay even if you're in a very dry climate? I've done that with mine and the humidity will drop under 10%.

Sorry - by run dry I mean have no water in the incubator.
