1. Are they set pointy end down or on their side?

What the duck forum really needs is a beginners guide to incubating 28 day duck eggs that has suggested settings for still air and forced air incubators. Something like that exists for Muscovy's, but not for other ducks.

I am going to create some Learning forum, I think that may help a lot of people here.

One of those three were upside-down, were there more dead or alive that were/are upside-down? As for floating in water, not surprised, saw that when mine were incubated for 26 days at only 47% humidity.

Spraying and misting would have help as well as the time of year...

Agreed! There is soooooo much information out there and so much of it is conflicting that newbies get completely LOST!!!! Info that has been tried and works, as well as well as clear about the type of egg, bator and timing in incubation would be very useful for myself as well as many others looking to have successful hatches

I believe there was a couple of them, but she's been working on them with very little assistance, like I said once I showed her how to handle them, she just TOOK right off.

Remember these ones were set on the turner upside down. I think that was the beginning of all problems. Can't remember when she took them off when she realized it.
