Help! first time hatching!

I guess it just goes to show you really can't trust any animal! I've seen cows bite birds' heads clean off, and rabbits attack and kill squirrels.

Sorry about your silkie... Hiding my head in shame I will admit that I have a pet opossum. He's not a pet the way a cat is, but he is pretty tame for a wild animal. Loves cat food, grapes, leafy greens, berries, apples, tomatoes, raw meat, cooked meat and eggs.

Horrible news for me tonight, we caught a possum eating away at my partridge Silkie. Grrrr so buzzard because I always thought they eat dead things not live ones. But shes ok he ripped her back opened pretty good, so she got a bath, hair dried and blue cote on her wounds...

How is she doing?

Kathy need some help here,

I didn't notice it yesterday but apparently the possum got her in the face, eyes are dripping blood, I just clean around her beak because her feathers were hard as a rock inside and around her beak. Inknow there was no way she's gotten eat or drink. So I cleaned her up. Looks like he was trying to grab her by the face to either carry her off or bit her head of. Either way, I believe THERES an infection kicking in, not only did I clean up some blood from both eyes but also some white slimmy stuff,

The help I need I know familiar with Baytril , she's 1.13 pounds, how much do you suggest she get???

700

700

Check with your vet first. Baytril website would say 5mg per day (0.05ml of the 10% solution), but a vet might have you give 5mg twice a day.
