Help! first time hatching!

I'm speechless, someone please weigh in and get me back on track here.

I think you read too fast and try to answer stuff that has long passed.

Let me explain.
The humidity wouldn't get above 69%, so I added more water to the channels. Didn't do anything. So I finally found a mister and misted the side of the incubator. It boosted it up to 72%, but now it's back down to 68%, but I'm ok with that.
All the duck eggs have externally pipped, and a couple of the chicken eggs have too.

"Glide" was a typo. I meant open.

And in case you didn't realize or see the pictures, I have an Octagon Eco 20, with 19 eggs in it

AND what's wrong with 69?> that's pretty darn good.
I get that Bator that you are using, but again, there was NO reason at all to even worry about that humidity. 69 is good, 65 is good.
You Misted the side of the bator? Or inside??
With the chickens in there I would have just stuck with 65, and not worried about it. They were coming regardless.

In fact 60 is PERFECT for those Silkies, Point is I don't see any reason why you needed to worry about that humidity at all. As long as it wasn't low like 40 or 50, then I could see you freaking out a bit but at 60 I believe you said they were externally peeping? if that was the case, what's wrong with that? THAT"S GREAT NEWS/

OH I'm caught up now and again I see do not see where Humidity needed to be messed with or changed. 60-65 they will still hatch and with silkies in there, that would have been the best setting..

Ok good. I'm a first time hatcher, so that's why I'm freaking out about humidity because I've read a lot (probably too much for a firstie) about shrink wrapping, so I'm kind petrified about it happening. These are the reasons I had a Brinsea in the garage for 2 years without using it.

It had settled down below 60 and she wanted it higher. If you recall, I said on a couple of occasions that as long as they were pipping, it was all good, but its her bator and eggs. I think all is ok for now, and I sure hope they start popping out soon.

When I came back in the room with the incubator I could here them peeping. I wonder if they're responding to the parakeet, who currently won't shut up
