OH boy, throwing possible sticky babies on someone else. HAHAHAA that's really funny, LMAO.. your to much..:
I wonder how she'll handle it...YES, most definitely
Ok, you are only on day 11 so you have plenty of time to even things out, so take a deep breath and relax. Yes, take the eggs out. It won't hurt them to go in an egg carton for a few minutes while you dry out the incubator. Then put them back in and yes, if you have a still air the temp should be 101-102 taken near the tops of the eggs. I would run dry and check your air cells for growth. If it looks like they are starting to grow too fast, wet a spong and place it in the bator. But most of all....relax.....![]()
Only in the animal world do all the eggsperts show up to help out!!! Love BYC peeps! ( two puns, one sentence!)
If the air cells are big and in the vicinity of where they need to be, I wouldn't worry too much. I'd just run at around 30% (as long as you are sure your hygrometer is right) and keep an eye on them. If they are signficantly bigger, (which with that high of humidity I can't see that being) then you don't need a lower humidity.Yay you're here.
Ok, i'll raise temp. I got most if not all of the water out with the towels. On day 7 I candled all the eggs and drew the air cells. They look pretty big. Is that good or bad?
Just remember if you've had it open, let it come back up to temp before adjusting too much because you will end up with a spike. Adjust it in itty bitty teeny tiny incremements and give it an hour or two before adjusting again and do this until you get it where you want it. The controls on these things are very sensative and just a little turn can cause a big spike or fall.Yay you're here.

Some people just don't get the concept that if you do the same thing over and over the same way you get the same results. If it's not working you change it, and you keep changing it until you find what does work.@AmyLynn2374 , sure wish you could talk some sense into the peafowl hatcher... they made some comment like "I hatched at 99.5 before so I'm gonna stick with it". I almost replied something snarky, but decided not to. sure enough, 30 days later all eggs were dead. But guess what? they did it again and lost their second batch!![]()
