I have chicks hatching right at the moment . Only one is out the humidity is at 70% and it looks like he/she is breathing heavy wondering if I should chance taking it out or is this normal . Actually its at 72% right now

I think it is normal for them to breathe heavy after they hatch because of all the hard work they just did getting out of the egg. But if you really feel like you need to take it out of the bator then just open it quickly and maybe put a wet sponge in, 70% humidity is good I think. Some people like to leave them alone while others take them out quickly. I'm the type that takes them out of the bator very soon after they hatch [IMG]. Good luck with the hatch!
