today is day four for my goose eggs. today i misted the eggs and left the bator open to cool down the eggs. i completely forgot and left the bator open for almost two hours. the eggs are now cool to the touch, though i immediately closed it up to gain heat and humidity. did i kill the eggs?

Day four is still early, so most likely everything will be fine. [IMG]

thanks guys. it is hard being an adult with the attention span of a child sometimes. usually, it's just forgetting where i left my keys!

    thanks again,

We had a bator full and had a 9 hour power outage at day 16 I think but they were fine and had a good hatch. (Temp was down to 72)

I'm 31 and ADD, too! All my kids are, too. It drives my DH nuts! He didn't understand how the heck someone could honestly forget so much and yet, hyperfocus to the point that no one could catch my attention. I take meds, but I'm on a break from them right now cause they make me so sick and I have too much to do right now to take a 3 hour siesta every day for nausea.

I did the same thing with goose eggs. I now set the stove timer before I take the lid off.
