Help! Found on hwy overpass

Found this guy alone on the road not far from a lake here in MI. He ate a worm from my hand. Have him under the heat lamp now and he's making himself right at home until I can get him to the wildlife rehab in the morning. Any ideas?

It's a pigeon squab - it wants chicken pellets or grains not worms.

I left both scratch and chicken food in there with him......

It's probably young enough that it still needs to be hand fed.
