My dad has a pellet stove and I use the unusable pellets in my nesting boxes...it's just like sawdust. I only have one laying right now and she moves it all out of the way and lays right on the wooden floor of the box...silly girl! LOL

That's what my girls did with shavings! And I was always "losing" eggs under the piles they shoved around... I'm not looking forward to that again... lol
