Help from all you chefs!! SALT HELP!!!

Ok so I pulled half of it out.. Kept it in a bowl (just in case) poured back in water and mixed a bit of water and some corn starch.. much lighter now not as rich but also not as salty. I kept the potatos in there and still have my rice going.
 
Ok so the verdict is......





I halfed it and then put it over rice and the combination of both helped a ton...

The kids are eating and not one word of ewww salty.. came out of their mouths..

I am sure that tonight I will be waking up in the middle of the night and pulling the rings off my finger because of my own salt intake.. but hey cant win them all.. thanks for everyones help..

ETA: and the Kitchen .... looks like a bomb went off..
