HELP! Goat got into Chicken Grower/finisher and possibly in labor OR Bloat?

ONE HUGE BUCKLING (6 or 7 pounds easy) AND ONE TINY DOELING ( 2 or 3 pounds)

NOT SURE IF ONE MORE

BUCKLING IS BLACK W/WHITE TAIL AND SPOT ON CHEST.

DOELING HAS FROSTING ON EARS AN I THINK MOONSPOTS

BLUEEYES

AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHH BABIES

I moved them inside cause it was too dark outside and I wanted to make sure the doeling nursed. (She did.)

Congrats! At least she doesn't have to drive you inside through wondering if she'll pop! I bet you will be able to get a good nights sleep now!

To check if there are any left, bounce her tummy. A kid will feel all hard and knobby in her belly rather than squishy. Might be hard if she is skittish.

Yup, she just passed it, no more babies. </3

I'm worried about the little one, she's not latching onto the bottle like her brother is. The buckling, obviously, is big and strong and vigorous. He suckled from the bottle immediately. She'll swallow if you put it in there, but getting her to suckle is a bit hard.

Do you have any honey? If so rub a little bit on the nipple and see if she will latch on that way. She needs to get the colostrum as soon as possible. Also if the vet can get you some BOSE that may help her. I know you do not care for your vet but it does not hurt to ask. I have never bottle fed so you may need to get more tips on the other forum but this is one thing I have read to try.

I got her some. She nursed from Tea for a little, then got a couple ounces from a bottle. I made SURE she got some.

Teas passing a second (?) placenta now, when she stands I'll milk some colostrum from her and give more to the doeling.

Is the big size difference going to be a problem?
