help: goose injured her eye

Hi everyone.

I noticed the other day (2 days ago) that my goose had a bit of blood smeared on the feathers near her eye. I checked her eye but there was no blood or injury on her eye that I could see. Her eye and the surrounding area looked fine the next day too.

Well, I checked her again today and her eye looks pretty bad. She has been eating/drinking like normal and her behavior is the same. Not sure where/how she could have got injured.

What medicine should I get? Or should I wait and see if it gets better on its own?

I'd go ahead and take care of this. you can use a saline solution and rinse her eye out a couple of times a day till cleared up and also Terramycin eye ointment TSC or on line

Thank you for the advice. Luckily, I have some Terramycin eye ointment and will be applying it. Hopefully things improve this week

How often do you think I should be applying the ointment? 2x or 3x a day?
