Cohenbrian,

I'm not at all experienced enough to offer much advise, but I think everyone else is in bed...so heres my feelings. he looks moist enough to not be getting shrink wrapped, I cant see clearly enough to see the yolk but if that yellow bit is it he still needs hours to absorb it so id suggest dont take any more shell off, keep moistening his membranes and let him sleep and chirp, those calls remember are strengthening his lungs and calling his hatch mates. he's getting air so can rest now for quite a few hours.
hopefully soon he'll get himself moving or a more experienced hatcher will be able to help.

good luck and try not to rush him.

how long has been since exturnal pip?

any progress?? Will be thinking of him/her (and you) tonight hope it goes well.

It has been well over 48 hours he's still chirping away this morning, he's still stuck within in the inner membrane he just doesn't seem strung enough to maneuver around it. I know you aren't suppose to touch the inner membrane but I don't know how to get him out then

UPDATE: I couldn't bother to hear him chirp anymore, it was the chirps of struggle and almost pain so I saw the veins had receded so I decided to moist a qtip and help him maneuver around the membrane he successfully hatched, he seems quite lathargic and is just laying their breathing I assume this is from exhaustion and hope to see him moving around in a few hours?
