Help- Having probs with BYC

I stayed with windows 7. Nancy Wicker aka fancy feathers told me to click the compatibility icon in the address bar until it works. It works great.

Oh, and please note that Windows 7 is your operating system and not your browser. It sounds like you might be on Internet Explorer, but it would be good to know which version.

Several of us in the ""Wisconsin Cheesehead" forum are having the following issues as well:
(I am using IE)

-Icons are missing (for uploads, smileys, fonts, etc)
-When we comment and go to post, we are receiving a message that we must enter text. One work around is-clicking preview then post. Others have found that repeatedly clicking on post sometimes works as well.
-I have also occasionally over the past 2-3 weeks had the newest postings showing on top of page rather than the bottom. This seems very sporadic.

We're sorry to hear that some peeps are still having problems with this. Here are a few questions that will help us find, duplicate, and hopefully resolve the problem.... we definitely need ALL this info from each person having problems:

• What is the URL of the page that you got the error or had problems?
• Did you receive any error messages? if yes, what were they? (please copy and paste the entire message, screenshots are best)
• What were the exact steps you took before having the problem? Please be as specific as possible so we can do exactly what you did.
• How long has it been happening? If only one time, what day and time did it happen?
• Which browser and version are you using (eg., Firefox 3.5.9, Internet Explorer 7, etc.)
• Have you logged out, deleted your internet cache / browser history of files, logged back in, and tried again?
• Have you tried a different browser (we suggest Firefox or Chrome)?
• If you are on Internet Explorer (which we think you shouldn't use) do you have "compatibility mode" in IE turned ON or OFF? http://windows.microsoft.com/en-US/internet-explorer/products/ie-9/features/compatibility-view

click on "my profile" on the top menu bar.
on the left of that page under your avatar photo is a button to replace your avatar.

i'am having the same problems.and at the top of the page,were the forums are.when you click on it is blank.when i try to sumit my post.i will have a pop up that says(please enter something before you post)

I was just freaking out about this, so I searched this thread, and I hit the compatability button. It worked instantly. I had it ON, which was the problem. I'm on internet explorer, by the way. :3
