I don't care to participate in swaying (other) parents on how to spend their money.

I use both a heat lamp and a DIY 'MHP'.

I don't mean to 'sway'her.Im just saying if she'd get it or not.

Well, I decided to go with the Brinsea brooder instead of a heat lamp, even though it Is expensive. In the past few years quite a few people in my town have had fires from heat lamps. Some lost their barn and animals, some had major damage to their house. No fire risk with the Brinsea. That made it worth the price to me. I'd rather pay for the expensive brooder than a new house.
