I accidentally put a indent on a egg thats gonna hatch in 4 days. Omg I feel so bad its the size of a pea and nothing is exposed just indented and cracked. I put melted canlde wax. Any one with experience please help!! Ty

Yes, we have had this happen more then once. the last one was even oozing a bit. I put a small square of duct tape on it, just enough to cover it. This chick is nearly a grown hen now.

I wanted to get your opinion on the red plugs. Do you use them? Ive heard so many different things

I have used them when I couldn't get the humidity high enough. My last hatch I used one and left the other off because that's what worked time before that I had to keep them off b/c it got too high with them on.....So I guess it just depends on the seasons? So glad you had two to hatch!
