Smokey came from my in laws. They had found a stray and it mated with my DH's grandad's cat and Smokey was one of the babies. I brought Smokey home and he mated with my cat, Baby (we found her at 3 weeks old on the side of the road half dead). I've spent THOUSANDS on Baby. They had 4 beautiful babies and I kept them all. We didn't mean to have kittens runnin around, we got Smokey fixed but it was about 2 weeks to late.
All my cats are fixed now.
My cats are very healthy...except for the herpes and they are on a lot of meds to keep that from harming them. I am always the first to take a pet to the vet. I love and care for all 32 of my pets, I can't have kids so they are my kids. Thank you for not passing judgement on me because it would hurt me terribly. If I lost one of my "babies" I would be a total wreck.
I once had a pet rat that died from a tumar and I cried myself to sleep every night for a month.
