HELP HELP HELP YELLOW BUBBLE ON MY BABY CHICKS THIGH

If the chick is pecking at it, it should be ok. If the chick is consuming giant mouthfuls of it, I would say maybe put a wrap around its injury or reduce the amount of neosporin. How is the chick doing?

Acting fine eating, drinking, he even hops around to play with the other 2 chicks. But when he gets tired he sits with the leg out. Ive been spraying his leg with a pet friendly antibiotic to see if it will help to.

I think you should wash it before putting Neosporin on it. Mix up a little warm soapy water. A drop or two of Dawn dish soap should do. Just pour it over the wound several times, don't rub or scrub. Then rinse well with more warm water. Finally, gently blot dry with a paper towel. Then put the Neosporin on.

You could also mix up a batch of saline solution and put it in a spray bottle, and spritz that on the wound before treating instead of the soapy water. Saline is made by mixing 1 teaspoon* salt with one quart of water. To make a smaller amount, use 1/4 tsp. salt per cup of water.

*Use real measuring spoons and cups, not a cereal spoon and drinking cup.

I recently bought an easter egger, ive had her for about 6 days now, shes about 1 week old, But something started happening and i need HEELP please. I noticed she was limping and i thought it was bumble foot, but it wasnt because when i went to go spray an antibiotic on my chick and i put her upside down and looked at her thigh and it was swollen with yellow bubbled on the thigh and she has been limping for about 3 days and when i touched it, it was bubbly and it hurt her. I dont know what caused this, I know now where the pain is coming from, she has been eating and drinking fine and interacting with the other 2 chicks, and she sleeps just fine in the tub of wood chips. but i dont know how to treat it someone HELP please.View attachment 2798772
