Dog training thread

Dog threw up this morning. Then ate it. Then threw up again, then ate it, then threw up again... I was in bed, and hubby was getting the poop out of his yard.
Anyways, hubby came in and interrupted his fourth attempt at eating it again, and took the crate outside to just hose the whole thing down. Evening now, and the dog gave his crate a VERY thorough sniffing. I think he's wondering where his snack went...
No idea why he was throwing up. His toys are as intact as they were yesterday, and he hasn't eaten anything weird as far as I know. 乁( •_• )ㄏ Seems fine now, and was fine all day.
Also, lol, I was going to play fetch with him today but we got our roof done and he was super well occupied with that - he totally passed out near the end, seems to have been sufficiently stimulating. 😂

... Husband just came back upstairs and realized that one of the crate doors were open. Jäger surely knew, he sniffed that wall so well. 🤣 Ah, what a dog, we say.

Poor puppers! Wonder if he got into something from the roofing project.
No, he was throwing up before he went outside for the morning at all, so that's why I'm a bit confused. He didn't have access to anything at all except his toys since the night before. And like I said, his toys are intact, so. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ Kinda odd. He has "randomly" thrown up before because of trying to eat a dead lily stem, but those are very long gone.
It does look like he may have gotten and torn up a piece of shingle. The workers did a good job of keeping things contained and cleaning up, but he got a piece. Hopefully he didn't eat any. That was a couple of hours ago, no problems as of yet.

Was just reading about the dangers of shingles, so will keep an eye on that.
I looked out there periodically and didn't see a shingle within reach or him chewing on anything. There were just small bits of it lying around that I saw him leave right before dinner. Soo, hopefully he didn't eat it... usually he's been pretty good about not eating some things that he likes to chew on (except that lily, lol).
