Help !!! hen has swollen wattle

Hi there I have an ex battery hen he has been free range for about 4 months now and is in perfect health !!!

However I noticed she had only 1 swollen wattle !!
She is acting perfectly normal ..
I took her to the vet ( who didn't know much )
But she injected her with tylan 200 ( antibiotic )
And said that down her throat looked a bit strange ...
I don't know what is wrong with her !! I'm hoping it's nothi bad as my cockerel also has the same 1 swollen wattle yet rest of flock are fine
The vet thinks it is just down to stress
Please of anyone has ever had these symptoms and found out id love to know

Vets who aren't avian specialists typically don't know much about chickens - I think they guess about as much as we do. If you hadn't said you had a cockerel with the same issue, I would have just guessed that perhaps the hen was stung by a bee or something.

Give the antibiotic a chance to work before you start worrying too much. And for future reference, you can buy tylan 50 and can get insulin needles from a pharmacy and do your own injections if you're not squeamish.
